More on clutches!

Clutches are fabulous and most women love to carry evening bags when they go partying. The clutches normally match the outfit that they are wearing for the evening. They want their handbags to standout together with their outfits. No matter how beautiful your dress or make up is, an ordinary or not-so-beautiful handbag might ruin it.
It is important for every woman to know which bag goes with what outfit before they show themselves up for an evening party. A high end luxury bag that goes with a beautiful and classy look will make you noticeable in a party with a sea of guests.
There are so many types of womens handbags or clutches to choose from.

The perfect evening bag would be one that has a soft leather and many styles are adorned with crystals and beads that are perfect for your evening wear.

There are also some styles of womens clutches. Some are made from satin, leather or silk fabrics. These styles fit a classic evening gown and your designer shoes.

The right evening bag will make your night more memorable. You can go online to look at different styles to choose from . The most expensive clutch bags cost around $5000 and there are cheap ones too that cost around $50. I usually suggested buying one expensive clutch bag that can go with many styles so as not to compromise the look and feel of a clutch bag.

You can compare prices of clutch bags online or you can go shop in the mall and look at the prices in retail stores.

I personally recommend buying online since it will save you more time and money without having to leave the comforts of your home and you can choose from many styles as well.

Sex and the City Style: Adriana Castro 'Meissa'

Some of our good friends are gearing up (and probably in the process of glamming up) for a bit of a treat this evening: thanks to the guys at HP, some were off to the world Premier of Sex and the City 2 in New York, where they'll be on the lookout for the best and boldest in street and red carpet style!

We're holding our breath to see what will happen on the red carpet and in the audience, but in the meantime, take a look at this handsome bag from Adriana Castro, whose chic and stylish bags appear in the movie. This sleek and simple 'Meissa' bag in python is perfect for Samantha's style and looks stunning set against her neutral-toned outfit. But what will she be wearing tonight?

If you can't afford to by the Meissa bag for yourself (and let's face it, unless you actually are Samantha that's probably the case, then check out some of the boutiques downtown, bet you will have quite a nice copycat version for below $400,

Adriana Castro's 'Meissa' is available here, USD2,300

Halle Berry rocks Rebecca Minkoff Easy Rider

Stars love Rebecca Minkoff, and they don't come much starrier than Halle Berry! Seen strutting her stuff in what appears to be a car park, Berry clutched the Easy Rider bag - an utterly glam-rock hobo.
Made from top-quality Italian leather, this hobo bears all the hallmarks of Rebecca Minkoff's range: it's as practical as it is stylish and fabulous.
Don't think this multiple-endorsed label has reached us yet,  try getting it online as this style is available through ASOS.

Fashion Week Hi-lites - Bortega Veneta

I know I'm a tad too late in writing this piece, but after seeing their range I realized that it's too superb!!! We just need to talk about!!
Bottega Veneta always do texture particularly well, and their big-weave spring and summer collection really set the tone for many designers this year. Great to see they're still leading by example in the autumn/winter range, which is full of tactile delights. We're also loving the colour palate used here, which is predominantly dark, but includes some opulent splashes of colour, as in the leaf-green tote (above left).
Spiky edging in many of the accessories gives the whole range a fairly reptilian look, giving a harder edge to the woven styling that's still in evidence on some of the pieces....Sul:three as you know is heavy into skin,so make sure you're on our mailing list....lots of new skin arriving!!

As ever, BV has an adorable range of clutches, including this extraordinary 'beetle' bag!!...just appreciate the creativity!!

Choose the right handbag!

You probably don't give handbags the same scrutiny you give a pair of jeans: if a handbag is cute or fits your lifestyle then it works.
But did you know that a handbag can flatter your shape almost as much as the right pair of jeans?

Apply these easy steps to getting bag in proportion to your figure. It can not only knock off pounds visually (no kidding!), it'll polish up your style in a flash.

Shapes

Try to choose a shape that is the opposite of your body type. If you are tall and thin, look for a slouchy, rounded hobo bag to compliment your figure. If you're short and voluptous, play off opposites by choosing a handbag that is tall and rectangular or long and sleek (like a clutch).

In general, the rounder your figure, the more structured your bag should be. That doesn't mean that you have to carry a hard box around to counterbalance your womanly shape: rectangular or square silhouettes in soft leathers or fabrics will do the trick.

Tips:
  • Take time in a store to try on handbags in front of a mirror just like you would apparel.
  • Don't be tempted by trendy shapes that don't suit your figure: there are plenty of great alternatives that will work.
  • Think lifestyle when shopping for handbags: if you're toting diapers and graham crackers, an artsy vintage bag won't hold up.
